Intended for medium-to-large size organizations with a need for highly-reliable and scalable Gigabit Ethernet switching, the Cisco SG550X-48-K9-EU Layer 3 switch represents a superior long-term investment.
This switch features forty-eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, along with four ten-Gigabit uplinks with both copper and SFP+ options. A total 176Gbps maximum switching capacity makes the SG550X-48 a strong switch on its own, but real stacking abilities also allow you to stack up to eight units into a single logical switch with superior capabilities.
In addition, the SG550X-48 is designed to be simple to administer. Deployment is simplified thanks to a variety of auto-configuration options, including smart QoS settings for attached appliances and automatic power usage adjustment to minimize power draw. It also delivers superior reliability, with redundant power supplies and fans, along with dual-firmware capabilities.
